Amazon Web Services also called AWS, a subsidiary or arm of of Amazon.com, and it offers a host of cloud-computing services which make up their on-demand computing platform. The run these services from 13 geographical areas across the world. Their most central and well-known service is their Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud and Amazon Simple Storage Service. AWS has more than 70 services, which cover a wide range of services that include compute, storage, networking, database, analytics, application services, deployment, management, mobile, developer tools and tools for the Internet of things. They provide large computing capacity quicker and cheaper than a client company who builds an actual physical server farm.
