About CNN
CNN stands for The Cable News Network. It's a well-known American basic cable and satellite television channel which is run by the Turner Broadcasting System division of Time Warner. It's the go-to news channel in the US. Founded in 1980 by American media proprietor Ted Turner it's set up to be a 24-hour cable news channel. Recently they have reorganized and it's officially described as a channel no longer a TV news network but instead a 24-hour global multiplatform network. When first launched it was the first TV channel to provide 24-hour news nationally and internationally in the US.

CNN HD on Spectrum cable tv has been intermittently down for over a month with screen message- "ONE MOMENT PLEASE . . . this channel should be available shortly" Spectrum IT suggests there might be a traffic jam on CNN. Duluth MN 55804
