Fairfield 06824 - brief outage this afternoon followed by horrible speeds and packet loss. Service is essentially unusable, but network status page says all is operational. When I call in to tech support i get a pre recorded message saying they are aware of an outage and to call back later.

GNS - has there been any progress? Has the power been restored and is the fiber repair underway? Can we have an update, please? Also, it would be good to know the extent of repair effort that will be needed to be done, to get a better estimate of the duration of the outage we are facing.

From GNS : Saturday 1/07/2023 11:00AM EST- We are currently experiencing service interruptions in West Haven and Milford due to a damaged fiber optic cable. Our crews are on-site but cannot begin restoration work until the utility company has restored power and the area has been cleared as safe. Fairfield CT here- Lost internet Tuesday night Dec 27 2022 & now it’s Thursday Dec 29th & still no internet. Called Gonetspeed and talked to tech support who acted like I was bothering him & gave me no info at all except to tell me there outages in CT lol What a waste!

I was having issues with my internet and it was really frustrating, fortunately for me, it was rectified by @hephaestuslock on Instagram, now everything is working perfectly
