I have not been able to connect for 2 nights. Can't watch Apple TV or Showtime. Now the internet is only working for some sites. I can't reach them by phone. All I get is a busy signal.

29485-Summerville 7:15 am Friday - STILL no internet. STILL no updates from Home Telecom. Absolutely one of the worst customer service departments. I am definitely going to break my contract and go with AT&T.

Internet still out. I tried Mason's YouTube suggestion, however when I put in Admin username off of my box it says wrong username. So any suggestions? Thank you for your time & consideration in this matter. Hope everyone has a great God blessed weekend.

Moncks corner South Carolina 29461 I have never been more pissed off as I am right now I have had nothing but issues with home Telecom and I've been telling my husband look here if you don't call to find another internet service for our home I will !!!! And then on top of it all they got their phone lines off and such a busy mode because they don't want to hear it... Absolutely pathetic

Iphone/ipad. Go to settings, wifi, tap the circled “i” to the right of your wifi name, configure DNS, set to manual, click the red - and delete the existing dns server, tap the green circled + and type in 1.1.1.1, tap the green circled + sign again and type in 8.8.8.8, tap save in the top right and it should be working again.

Summerville 29486. It’s a DNS issue. I tried a few things and got it working. You can do it too, just have to look up on your phone the steps for your device type (iPad, PC, Mac, whatever). Use IPV4, set primary DNS to 1.1.1.1, and alternate DNS to 8.8.8.8. Restart the device. Here’s how to do it for a PC https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using

Moncks Corner South Carolina...ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS SERVICE !! Home Telecoms IT engineers are Garbage. NOT only do they NOT service their equipment they FAIL to answer phones, maintain their infrastructure on a regular basis. Home Telecom sends out GARBAGE Modems/routers, they Do not maintain Customer Dmarks, connections, Fiber or Canling. They overcharge for their antique service, plus their technicians NEVER show up on time. Take this from a Local IT business owner. They are the worse. They need to sell this company to another Professional Corporation.

Is there anything you need to do besides set your dns to Google or Cloudfair? I have attempted so, done a ipconfig /renew, and rebooted the gateway to no avail. Do I need to hard reset it?

Set your dns to 1.1.1.1 Cloudflare DNS it’s the fastest otherwise you Dan also use 8.8.8.8 the google free dns

Clements ferry rd. Charleston 29492. This is the first real issue I’ve had with Home Telecom. Had AT&T before and it was ssslllooowww. Home is lightning fast in comparison. I’ll wait it out. But will never go back to AT&T

Changed my DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and did an ip renew. Still no dice. Not a huge wiz with networking so I'm not sure which other router settings I need to change.
