About Kik
Kik Messenger, is widely known as Kik, and is an instant messenger service and software application made specifically for mobile devices. It's a Canadian company Kik Interactive, that made their app available free of charge on iOS, Android, and Windows Phone operating systems. Its very similar to BlackBerry Messenger since it uses a smartphone's data plan or Wi-Fi to transmit and receive messages, photos, videos, sketches, mobile webpages, and other content instantly, once a user registers a username. Kik is famous for preserving users' anonymity, since it allows users to register without giving a telephone number, and prevented users from being located on the service, not even by the company itself, or by any info other than their chosen username.
