NuLink Digital is an American telecommunications company that has on offer internet service only for customers in the state of Georgia. The cable internet, cable TV, and phone service available from NuLink Digital is offered to an estimated 85,000 people, which makes it the 58th largest provider of cable broadband in the US by coverage area. It started as a division of Newnan Utilities in 1997, and then NuLink was spun off as a private entity in 2008, and has it continued to deliver new technology to residents and businesses throughout the area.

I hope everyone is aware that NuLink doesn’t even see these posts and most likely doesn’t even know this site exists. They are in no way affiliated with “downhunter”. This site is owned/operated by someone in Germany

30265 Newnan. As an avid internet/tv person, I can understand everyone’s frustration especially when we have come to depend on it during this pandemic. I can also appreciate the work involved in getting service restored after such an event, and now with further storms coming in today. Just have to be patient and find that book on the shelf you never got around to reading!

30265 Update- customer service is not something we do here at Nulink. If you want updates choose one of those fancy cable/int companies that don’t house their servers in the closet at the main office. Once power is restored we will go to unplug the server and plug it back in, should be fine! Thanks for your patients y’all! (PS, another storm rolling through now so don’t get your hopes up)

30265 Thomas Crossroads You would think that Nulink would have the professionalism to post updates via their phone system when calling to check the status of them re-establishing service. But NO. I'm not asking for any surgar coating of the situation. I just want the truth about any efforts being made to restore service. Just let us know what is going on. I think that most would agree that facts help, even if they're not pleasant.

30263 Newnan.... I've come to this website frequently on the past 3 days to check updates, but Pam your response is very ignorant. This is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE HURRICANE KATRINA. Folks are able to go elsewhere right down the street or stay within the homes though a bit more sunlight. They are a live plus folks are helping... Like HURRICANE KATRINA ignorance at its finest.

Pam 30265 Newnan. Three people in my household work from home over the Internet so I understand how frustrating the wait is! But we have been hit by a major natural disaster, similar on a small scale to something like the Hurricane Katrina situation years back. The aftermath with widespread street and road blockages, whole buildings in rubble and so on wreak havoc with the area's utility infrastructure! Including internet access. Patience is very hard... I practically live on the internet, doing research for making video documentaries. Being without it for three days now has been extremely frustrating! But we all really have no choice but to tough it out, and try to not give in to anger. Sure hope things are sorted out by later today.

30263 (Avery Park) here. Internet still out. Been out for going on the 3rd day now. I work from home owning several ecommerce sites, so...needless to say, been a real bear to deal with. Hopefully today?

I am in Newnan 30265. Information from the Newnan paper late yesterday explained that parts of the damaged Nulink fiber cable system are within the area of rubble from the Tornado. They have to wait in certain spots to get permission from emergency management people to get to the trouble spots because of street blockages and other dangerous circumstances. The tornado was a category 4, winds were 170 miles per hour. With trees ripped out of the ground where cable is and some structures destroyed and in rubble the going is slow. They want to get service back up and running as soon as possible but are hindered by circumstances. I hope they can get to it all by the end of today.

Newnan 3⁰2⁶5 Internet still out. Not complaining, just letting folks know who come on this site looking for info. My son and I enabled our hotspots on our phones/tablets in order to stream some TV. Not sure if everyone has this option (or has thought about it), but if you have the ability it sure helps.

I believe the “Affected Cities” resets after so many hours, possibly 24. Once someone uses the “Report a NuLink Digital Problem” button above, it adds the area back that you’re reporting from. Since most are on cellular data, it’s showing the areas your carrier is based verse your home city. I’m assuming that’s why we see Tampa in the list.

Sheeeesh I feel bad complaining about there being no internet when other people’s houses have been destroyed by the tornado. However, I feel like Nulink has always had the worst planning, support, and alternatives lined up... I wish Google fiber would service my area.
