About OneDrive
OneDrive is a cloud drive, it was previously known as SkyDrive, or Windows Live SkyDrive, and Windows Live Folders. It is mainly a file hosting service that lets users to sync files and access them at anytime from a web browser or mobile device, keeping everything in their cloud drive. Users can share files publicly or with their contacts and get 5 GB of free storage. These publicly shared files do not require a Microsoft account to access them. OneDrive is now included in the suite of online services previously known as Windows Live and is connected to MSN hotmail.
