It's South Puget Sound's main phone, cable TV & high-speed Internet provider for phone, DSL, cable & TV service in Tacoma, Puyallup, Centralia, Eatonville, Graham regions. The cable internet from Rainier Connect is made available to an estimated 43,000 people, that makes it the 79th largest provider of cable broadband in the US by coverage area. Also, in addition to cable broadband, Rainier Connect also offers DSL internet service to approximately 16,000 people locally.

98418 - Controls just changed... though sports are shown as happening, they are not playing. Only 3 channels or so really working and streaming is working. I want football and basketball via tevo... that I don't have in the past 15 minutes, though I had it all morning until then...

98418.. at 2am last night I was able to get our internet working but not gmail or chrome until I opened firefox, downloaded chrome from there, then closed firefox... then everything was back, but I had a few unwanted texts trying to smell me stuff from Dubai, so I know our security was also down for awhile. Be careful out there Tacoma.

Apparently Rainier is doing maintenance on their end that they have not told any of their customers, hence the internet being poor, Rainier you need to have dialog with your customers telling us when you will be doing such maintenance, internet has been spotty in 98404 area and surrounding for about a week or two
